The circle shrinks on the creator's published, committed schedule (posted May 28, now in the rules; they won't speed it up): 150 mi now → 50 mi May 30 → 1 mi Jun 6 → 1 ft Jun 16, 10:05 PM MDT (Jun 17, 04:05 UTC). The circle has marched west of the Lunar Crater–Reveille belt onto the Kawich/Cactus Range area — just read the live center as it tightens.
Live best estimate: the hunt-circle center (gold ◎ on the map), now ~37.5° N, 116.9° W The shrinking circle is ground truth — it now sits west of our Lunar Crater–Reveille basalt belt, in the Kawich/Cactus Range area near Tonopah. Both belt pins are now eliminated by the circle; the geology candidates below are kept for context.

The evidence chain (physics only)

Honest call: the live circle has now marched west of our basalt belt and eliminated both Reveille and Lunar Crater (≈27 km and ≈66 km outside the current edge), just as it earlier eliminated Black Rock, UT. The treasure sits in the Kawich / Cactus Range area (~37.5° N, 116.9° W) — bimodal basalt-and-rhyolite country west of the named belt. The circle is the ground truth now: we track its converging center rather than re-pinning geology it keeps overtaking.

Caveats

Longitude rests on the inferred ~8-min clock offset (unverifiable without ADS-B). If the clock were exact, the scene would sit at 110.5° W — but no young basalt exists there, so that branch is disfavored. Subfield markers are approximate (town-referenced); refine with USGS polygons. "Waterfall Hunt" is a codename — the scene is an arid basalt slope, no waterfall.
